Overview
City Clinic as a company provides specialised serviced office facilities for health professionals in Crown St, East Sydney and a new centre due to open in York St Sydney in September. This includes comprehensive practice management and marketing of health provider services.

By combining the best of internet and desktop applications, irwinSolutions and Rx Healthcare will develop an integrated end-to-end solution for City Clinic. Both parties will provide its clinics with a medical practice management system (provided via a desktop application, Rx Allied Health from e-Healthcare Australia) that has the benefits of live online appointments and email/SMS messaging (provided through smartAPPOiNT™, by irwinSolutions).

How Does the Combined Solution Work?
1. Internet scheduling functions of smartAPPOiNT™ will allow patients (new and recurring) to make direct appointments with CityClinic practitioners from the Internet.

2. Given that the internet calendar synchronises with the calendar on Rx Allied Health (practice management system), it ensures that at all times both calendars are matched allowing CityClinic to manage its schedules both offline and over the internet from the front desk.

3. When appointments are made, the messaging functions within smartAPPOiNT™ will send confirmation emails to both practitioners and patients. Both parties will be able to update their Microsoft Outlook calendars with the email. Patients will also receive SMS messages as reminders for their appointment closer to the date.
 

4. Beside the scheduling and messaging functions from smartAPPOiNT™, Rx Allied Health will deliver a range of practice management functions including:

    Scheduling;

    Patient records management;

    Billings;

    Patient correspondence;

    Management reporting & debtor management

Potential Value Delivered to CityClinic
The delivery of the solution has the potential to generate the following benefits to City Clinic:

    Referring Doctors, Practitioners and patients alike will have the convenience to access their City Clinic schedule via the internet; Enhancing patient service by adding other forms of communication including email confirmation, SMS messaging and collaboration with existing electronic diaries; Providing an end to end solution that includes practice management to internet scheduling; Allowing City Clinic to manage both their internet and practice schedules from the one location; Automating patient communication, for example reminder calls are now replaced with automated SMS reminders; Enhancement of internal communication as all practitioners will receive confirmation emails when appointments are made with them (either by patients or receptionists)

The service will be launched in City Clinic's state of the art facility at 50 York Street on September 1st 2002. City Clinic's Crown Street facility will be brought online in October 2002.

SurgiDat Database Manager

One of the most daunting and time consuming jobs is the creation of a database. SurgiDat SSCATS by

MSDesign is a Sterilisation Tracking System for Surgical Instruments.using Barcodes & Scanners to track trays & single instruments through CSSD to OT to patient (LogiPro Systems are the SA Solution Providers for the SurgiDat Suite of applications). However, in order to track anything, you need a database.

We had Clients using Excel and other products, cutting and pasting, doubling up, errors in data entry of multiple entries, user fatigue and more. The process was time consuming. We needed a tool that made database building as easy as possible.

 

 

We now have that tool SurgiDat Database Manager by MSDesign.

Features

This product,  has an very easy user interface allowing the user to enter some basic parameters such as locations, users, categories and more.

                        

 

The real star quality of this product is it's ability to assign unique base numbers to instruments (allowing single instrument tracking, regardless of the tray), cloning of trays adding unique ID's, manufacturer details, costs, digital images of trays and contents, instructions to CSSD and Theatre and more.

Our Clients who are involved with CSSDs will already be familiar with the SurgiDat SSCATS CSSD System for tracking the sterilisation of instruments from decontamination area to distribution, with checks at all points (washing, packing, loading and sterilising, unpacking loads and pass/fail to distribution) Now we are proud to announce the continuation of this system. Not only do we track through Theatres to Patient, but we can also track Prosthesis, Consumables with SurgiDat Theatre and link to sterilisers/washers with the HMI (Human Machine Interface) module.

LogiCounsel

Developed by Logipro Systems in conjunction with a major counselling organisation in South Australia involving government, employers and unions, LogiCounsel provides the tools for practitioners to record details in relation to each counselling episode. Relevant information for specific government departments, employers and unions can be entered and consequently, the ability to report, statistically, to each Client in the specific manner they require, is available on a periodic basis.

      

LogiCounsel is also able to link to other software systems such as Appointment Systems and Patient Information Systems thus negating the need to enter data into more than one system.

The system assists the servicing organisation to report to their Clients, thus helping reduce turnover of staff, which can be avoided by supporting them to deal with issues which affect them and their ability to perform their job. LogiCounsel can be customised to suit a particular Customer's requirements.

LogiPro Referral Management System (RMS)

A suite of programmes that aims to capture, analyse and make easily available all information regarding referring doctors.

Detailed information is procured from your chosen Practice Management Information System. This information is then processed to provide information not previously available.

        

LogiPro RMS acts as a complete knowledge solution, removing the loss of service and information, if the Marketing Manager is away or leaves the business.

Alerts to user defined criteria e.g. If a Doctor falls below 80% or normal referrals. Any criteria you may require.

Mail Merge is incorporated heavily into the system, allowing emails, labels, letters etc created and re-created using current data.

Knowledge Mangement Features allow easy recording of information that will help improve referring doctor satisfaction anywhere, anytime.

LogiStats Management & Reporting System

A suite that are in the style of Hierarchical tree-views with drill-down levels, rather than just flat reports.

The complete report or the current drill-down can be printed as it appears on screen. This allows multiple reports to be open at once, including multiple versions of the same report. 

Each of these open reports can be at any stage of drill-down and viewing providing a very flexible viewing and comparison interface.

 

Reports can be exported as Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), Microsoft Excel (.xls), Microsoft Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), and as a Web Page (.html).

 

Pre written or customised reports from Practice Management and Appointments systems, Community Care Tracking systems and various other systems are available.

HIC Online for Rx MEDICAL

We have been waiting for this feature to be released by Rx Healthcare to both the Clients and Rx Solution Providers.

We have had confirmation from the General Manager of Rx Healthcare that HIC Online version of RxSQL V4.4.# will be released to us all very soon.
