Minimum Hardware Specifications
Production server must be at least a 3.0Ghz Xeon or P4 with a minimum of 1G of memory. Operating system must be part of either the Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server families.
Windows workstations must meet the hardware requirements to be running Windows XP Professional, but may be running either Windows 2000 (sp4) or Windows XP.
PocketPC client devices must be running Windows PocketPC 2002 or later. The software will run on all handhelds meeting this specification, but newer and faster hardware will yield better response times during day-today operation
Disciplines Disciplines are entered by the Client to suit you own environment.
Users Users are also set up by the Client to suit your work environment. There are 3 levels of user:
A user may be a member of one or more disciplines. Also, for example, a User may be an administrator of one discipline, but a simple user or super user of another.
Hierarchies Hierarchies are set up in the Hierarchy Editor. The entries are user definable, with some being shared hierarchies and others specific to each individual disciplines. There is the ability to set default standards which will automatically populate the intervention for a patient.
There is also the ability to enter 5 customised hierarchies per discipline to be whatever that discipline requires. Note above, the various hierarchies available, showing the Time of Day hierarchy.
Another example, is the Locations hierarchy Locations of interventions and referrers as per our example below
CASPAH Worklists The Practitioner worklist is shown below. Note the Group Interventions and Non attributable Intervention areas are shown in blue. The Clinic Appointments are shown in red below those (non are showing in this worklist) and then the normal In patients who are to receive interventions are shown normally below that, along with their UR number. You are able to ADD Patients to the list by clicking ADD. The Patient demographic information that you facility has requested will be available for searching. To view Interventions already performed for a Patient, simply select the Patient from the Worklist and view as below.
CASPAH Interventions
Patient Type Time of Day Time range (Time Range e.g. 15-30 minutes, or Timer or entry of minutes manually – see diagram below)
The boxes with ( .... ) show a list of choices, click on them and make a selection
Stop Watch Timer
or Manually enter full minutes
INDICATOR As mentioned earlier, these are Hierarchy Fields and will be selected by levels, as are all the Hierarchy entries set up by the Client. As an example: They could be entered as: MS System, Nervous System as Group 1
Group level 2 could be Amputation, Joint Surgery, Brain Injury. Remember these are sub choices under Group 1.
Group 3 could be Joint Replacement, Tendon Repair, Brain Injury Traumatic, Brain Injury Non Traumatic.
Group 4 could be a sub level of Group 3 or Tests. Anything really that you wish to record
Thus arriving at the 5th level, which is the actual Indicator/code. Hence Indicators can be tracked through specific levels to represent that particular path. Thus you work through the Intervention information entering information for:
e.g.
This allows you to Select either Attributable or Non Attributable Interventions, working through the hierarchy until you can select the correct entry. E.g. see below for Clinical Care, Individual Patient Attributable, Assessment. The number of Patients who are present for a particular Intervention. E.g. Physiotherapy may have an exercise class where more than one patient attends and you wish to record the attendance numbers.
Other information may be collected – see
Outcomes Outcomes may be recorded
Available Dimensions and Measures The reports are compiled using both Dimensions and Measures. The field list shows all Dimensions and Measures available for reporting purposes.
Reports are easy to use with a drag and drop functionality. Simple drag the fields you wish to report on into a specific area. E.g. Disciplines, then drag another field across e.g. Interventions and a report similar to that above is shown.
Multiple views, multiple fields, exemption from reports (e.g. do not include Physiotherapy or a specific location) or include all. The choice is yours.
Chart reports are also easily created with a drag and drop functionality.
